Privacy
Privacy Policy.
This policy covers giraffebrands.com and the work we do for clients. It is written in plain English on purpose. If anything here is unclear, email us and we will explain it.
Who we are
GiraffeBrands is operated by [[LEGAL ENTITY NAME]], registered at[[REGISTERED ADDRESS]]. We are the data controller for the information described below. Contact us any time atinfo@giraffebrands.com.
What we collect
What you give us
When you book a call or email us, we collect your name, your email address, your phone number if you provide one, and whatever you choose to tell us about your business.
If you become a client, we also collect what we need to build and run your brand: billing details, your domain, access to your store and ad accounts, and the product, label and brand decisions you make with us.
What we collect automatically
Standard server logs — your IP address, browser, the pages you opened and when. These are used to keep the site working and secure.
We also run the Meta Pixel, a piece of code from Meta Platforms (Facebook and Instagram). It records that you visited this site, which sections you viewed, and whether you clicked a "Book a call" button or completed a booking. Meta may match that activity to your Facebook or Instagram account if you have one.
We use the pixel for two things: measuring whether our ads actually produce bookings, and showing our ads to people similar to our existing clients. We do not use it to collect anything about you beyond your activity on this site.
Cookies
The site itself sets no cookies for analytics or advertising of our own. The Meta Pixel and the Calendly booking embed set their own cookies when they load. You can block or delete them in your browser settings — the site keeps working without them, and you can still book a call.
Who we share it with
We share only what each partner needs to do its job:
- Meta Platforms — site activity, for ad measurement and targeting as described above.
- Calendly — the name, email and answers you enter when you book a call.
- [[PAYMENT PROCESSOR]] — billing details, if you become a client. We never see or store your full card number.
- Our manufacturing, labelling, fulfillment and design partners — only the brand and order information needed to make and ship your products.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not pass your contact details to anyone else to market to you. We will disclose information if the law requires it.
Where it is held
Our suppliers, including Meta and Calendly, process data in the United States. If you are in the UK or the EU, that means your information may be transferred outside your country. Those transfers rely on the standard contractual clauses in our agreements with those suppliers.
How long we keep it
If you enquire and do not become a client, we delete your details after[[RETENTION PERIOD]]. If you become a client, we keep your records for as long as we work together and for[[RECORD-KEEPING PERIOD]] afterwards, because tax and company law require it.
Your choices and your rights
You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email us and we will do it.
To stop the Meta Pixel specifically, use your Facebook or Instagram ad settings, a tracking blocker, or your browser's cookie controls.
If you are in the UK or the EU, the GDPR gives you the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to and port your data, and to complain to your national data protection authority. If you are in California, the CCPA gives you the right to know what we collect, to have it deleted, and not to be treated differently for asking. We do not sell personal information under either law.
Children
This is a service for businesses. It is not intended for anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect information from under-18s.
Changes
If we change this policy we will change the date at the top of the page. If the change is significant and you are a client, we will email you.
